While real-time location systems (RTLS) provide location data, the greatest benefits of the technology cannot be realized without integration of the RTLS data into business systems. How to go about doing so will be the topic of the first teleconference of 2014, sponsored by the American College of Clinical Engineereing (ACCE).

Entitled “RTLS 2.0,” the hour-long seminar will cover integration to the EMR system, CMMS, and third-party applications. The session provides an overview of the latest solutions and considerations for clinical engineers looking to leverage an RTLS platform.

Scheduled for January 19, 2014, at noon Eastern time, the teleconference will be led by Scott Philips of Kaiser Permanente. For more information or to register for the event, visit the ACCE teleconference webpage.
