Innovatus Imaging, a provider of imaging devices and repair services for healthcare organizations, has announced the promotion of Joseph Habovick from head of MRI modality to vice president of MRI, and Matt Tomory from head of strategic advancement to vice president of ultrasound for Innovatus Imaging’s Ultrasound Center of Excellence.

In his new role, Habovick is helping to advance the programs and processes associated with the company’s coil repair services. His background includes clinical experience as a medical physics professional in radiation oncology, and strategic marketing/product management positions with Bayer Healthcare, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Medrad, North American Scientific, and Nomos.

Habovick is one of the leading experts in developing programs and investment plans that enable facilities to lower costs of ownership and achieve efficiencies in repair costs and services for all makes and models of MRI accessories, according to Innovatus. He began his career in radiation oncology where he developed expertise in cancer treatment planning through direct collaboration with radiation oncologists, radiologists, urologists, surgeons, and medical physicists. This clinical experience increased his trouble-shooting skills for medical device innovations which set him apart as a leading partner for all MRI coil repair needs.

Matt Tomory is a respected authority in ultrasound repair processes and maintenance. He is instrumental in assisting healthcare providers nationwide with strategic and investment planning for achieving greater efficiencies for ultrasound transducer repair and maintenance.

Tomory is noted for successfully enables facilities of all sizes to substantially lower operational costs by extending the lifecycle of standard and TEE probes by even one year through Innovatus Imaging’s proprietary repair and preventative maintenance processes, according to the company, which was formed in September 2017 as a result of the merger of Bayer Multi-Vendor Service, Wetsco, and MD MedTech.
