AIV Inc, Harmans, Md, a biomedical and clinical engineering support company, has expanded its portfolio of services with the purchase of the multivendor repair services of Mindray Medical.
The parameter module and telemetry monitor repair operation of Mindray’s Jupiter, Fla, facility will be transitioned to AIV’s Harmans, Md, facility, effective December 1, 2012.
“Bringing our parameter and telemetry repair in-house will pay significant dividends for our customers,” said Tim Malkus, COO of AIV Inc. “Having this operation under one roof enables us to pass the reduced repair costs on to them while providing the product and service quality they have come to expect from AIV.”
AIV will immediately support all of the GE/Marquette and HP/Philips repairs that Mindray’s multivendor services provided, with additional services being offered in coming months. Mindray technicians will work closely with AIV staff in order to ensure a seamless transition of services between the two organizations.
