At 11:00 am Eastern time on December 17, 2013, AAMI will hold a 90-minute webinar on the security challenges facing increasingly networked medical devices. The speakers will explain how organizations can prepare to meet the guidelines that the FDA recently issued in its advisory on cybersecurity.

The session will be led by the co-chairs of AAMI’s Medical Device Security Working Group, Kevin Fu, Associate Professor and Sloan Research Fellow in the Computer Science and Engineering school at the University of Michigan, and Ken Hoyme, Distinguished Scientist, Adventium Labs, Minneapolis, Minn.

The program is designed for medical device professionals responsible for design or engineering, quality systems compliance, risk assessment, assurance, management, or anyone involved with new product development.
