Registration for the Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians‘s (CABMET) CBET Spring study group teleconference will end March 8, with classes starting on March 16.
Each year, CABMET hosts a study group for all technicians interested in taking the ICC certification test. Those in the Denver area can attend in person, but the study group is also available to everyone via teleconference and the Web. The first class begins on Tuesday, March 16, and will go through April 29.
Specific review topics will include medical equipment function and operation; fundamentals of electricity, electronics, and solid state devices; anatomy and physiology; and test taking skills.
In previous years, CABMET study group participants have been among the highest scorers in the nation.
The cost for groups is $60 per individual, plus an additional $140 for a phone/Web line.
