NovaRad announces new community hospitals in Nebraska and Virginia have shed time and improved workflow in the radiology department by adding the company’s NovaRIS and NovaPACS technology.

Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City, Neb, installed NovaPACS to combat the growing problem of on-site film storage. Now,  images are stored electronically off site and can be retrieved on demand. Currently, the hospital sends all exams out for reading; turn around time on reports has decreased enabling results to be delivered to patients faster.

With similar goals in mind, Pioneer Community Hospital of Patrick County in Stuart, Va, installed both NovaPACS and NovaRIS, which generates reports, measures profitability, and facilitates paperless management of patient records. The hospital has since eliminated film and now provides images to reading and referring physicians securely online and CDs of studies to patients.

NovaRad offers a full range of affordable PACS, RIS, orthopedic, cardio and mammography systems, DR, and peripherals to hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.
