Encompass Medical Group installed a CARESTREAM Vue PACS to serve its eight locations in the greater Kansas City area. Each multi-physician clinic performs imaging services and houses specialties ranging from family practice to orthopedics, internal medicin,e and pediatrics. The medical group of 44 physicians conducts 60,000 x-ray exams a year.
Carestream Health’s PACS was selected because it provided advanced features that addressed the reading needs of radiologists, while its Web-based Vue Motion image viewer offers access to images from any location.
