Norton Healthcare has purchased the RadPRO Omnera 400T Manual-Positioning Digital Radiography System from Virtual Imaging, Inc., a Canon Company, for Norton Audubon Hospital. One of the largest health care systems in the Louisville, Kentucky, area, Norton Healthcare provides care at more than 210 locations in both Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana.

Assisting Norton Healthcare with this choice was Interstate Imaging, LLC, an authorized Virtual Imaging dealer. Because the health care organization already had RadPRO mobile digital x-ray systems equipped with Canon detectors and software in use, this system required a minimal learning curve.

“In recommending the RadPRO Omnera 400T Digital Radiography System, we were confident that the system would provide a smooth transition, minimal learning curve, and consistency with the hospital’s current Canon detectors and RadPRO mobile devices,” says Bob Bedwell, vice president, Interstate Imaging, LLC.

Concurring, Tsuneo Imai, vice president and general manager of the healthcare solutions division, business imaging systems group at Canon U.S.A. and president of Virtual Imaging, Inc., says: “We understand that the health care industry has many options in selecting a digital radiography system, and we are honored that our products were chosen by the seasoned and knowledgeable health care professionals at Norton.”
