The companies will operate as a single integrated provider under the Tri-Imaging name, bringing together aftermarket imaging parts, field service, depot repair, and technical training across MRI, CT, and X-ray platforms.
DirectMed Imaging, a portfolio company of Frazier Healthcare Partners, has acquired Tri-Imaging Solutions. DirectMed and Tri-Imaging will be combined into a single, integrated provider of aftermarket diagnostic imaging parts, systems, service, and technical training. The combined company will operate under the Tri-Imaging name.
The organization will be led by the current Tri-Imaging leadership team, with Eric Wright as CEO, and bring together two imaging platforms serving healthcare networks, independent service organizations, and equipment manufacturers.
DirectMed is a provider of aftermarket diagnostic imaging parts, systems, and repair services across MRI, CT, and X-ray modalities, with LBN in Denmark and ScanMed in Omaha, Nebraska, as complementary businesses.
Tri-Imaging provides customer-focused data analytics, replacement parts, on-site service, technical support, and industry-recognized training programs for medical imaging professionals. It supports customers nationwide across major OEMs and modalities.
“DirectMed and Tri-Imaging share a common purpose of keeping critical imaging equipment up and running so providers can focus on patient care,” says Eric Wright, CEO of Tri-Imaging, in a release. “Bringing our teams together under the Tri-Imaging name strengthens and expands our ability to globally support customers with the parts, service, and training they need across imaging modalities.”
According to a release from the company, the combination will provide:
- Broader and deeper inventory of multi-modality imaging parts across major OEMs
- Expanded service capabilities, including depot repair, field service, and technical support
- Enhanced training and education programs for engineering teams
“Supporting DirectMed as it builds a scaled, global imaging platform has been a key focus for Frazier,” says Kent Berkley, partner at Frazier Healthcare Partners, in a release. “Adding Tri-Imaging’s highly regarded service, parts, and technology platform capabilities is a natural next step in that strategy and aligns with our goal of creating a best-in-class imaging solutions provider.”
