Dynamic Healthcare Services Inc, Irvine, Calif, (DHS) a portfolio company of GMH Ventures LLC has acquired HomeTown Oxygen, Monroeville, Pa. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
HomeTown is a full-service distributor of medical products and equipment, including respiratory and sleep apnea equipment. HomeTown’s regional operation includes the Pennsylvania counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawrence, Washington, Westmoreland, and parts of Indiana and Somerset.
DHS was formed in 2000 as the parent company to Central Medical Equipment, Harrisburg, Pa, and East Suburban Medical Supply, Pittsburgh, which were originally incorporated in 1981. DHS has grown over the past decade to become a regional distributor and provider of home medical equipment, respiratory therapy products and services, and complex rehabilitation products and services in the western and central Pennsylvania markets. After the HomeTown acquisition, DHS will have approximately 100 employees with facilities throughout Pennsylvania.
