A new line of self-locking outlet covers from Tripp Lite offer additional protection to hospitals seeking to prevent outsiders from hijacking their power source.
The reusable covers automatically lock in place upon installation but require a Phillips head screwdriver for removal, offering an extra layer of security to reduce unauthorized access. The attachments are compatible with Tripp Lite’s UL 60601-1 power strips and surge protectors, as well as all other outlets that use NEMA 5-15R-HG receptacles.
