The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) is seeking nominations for its Technology Management Council (TMC), a committee of 24 volunteers to represent the needs of biomedical equipment technicians, clinical engineers, and other HTM professionals.
The TMC executive committee will select new members to a 3-year term on the basis of their professional diversity and experience, as well as existing involvement with AAMI activities. Specific 2014 duties will include completing a 3-phase HTM Career Ladder project; working to standardize HTM training and education; launching a new HTM mentorship program; raising the profile of the HTM field with targeted groups; and various other projects as they arise.
