Appleton, Wis.-based Technical Prospects, which specializes in Siemens parts, training, and support, has added former Siemens field service engineer Chris Watson to its team. This hire will enhance technical support and facilitate the development of new technical training course offerings.
Expanding into Siemens MRI support by hiring Watson was Technical Prospects’ next logical step to enhance the customer support experience. Watson brings more than 10 years of Siemens expertise to Technical Prospects and will help provide technical support for preventative maintenance, repair guidance, equipment calibration, part installation, and error troubleshooting on all of Siemens imaging modalities.
Developing new training courses will also be a focus, given Watson’s current knowledge of Siemens medical imaging equipment.
During his tenure with Siemens, Watson repaired Siemens medical imaging equipment in some of the country’s largest hospitals. And having field experience, he understands the value of having someone like himself available to assist with troubleshooting and other technical support needs.
Watson says joining Technical Prospects was a strategic decision. “During my time in the field, vendor technical support was sometimes outsourced, unavailable or very expensive,” he says. “Technical Prospects has a consistent team of engineers available to help resolve customer concerns at no cost to the customer.”
