The terms of the settlement are confidential, but the parties report that their agreement frees each company’s products from claims of patent infringement and resolves all disputes between them.
CenTrak, based in Newtown, Pa., is a subsidiary of Halma plc and empowers healthcare leaders with actionable data to increase productivity, reduce operating costs, and transform patient care via locating and sensing Internet of Things solutions, according to company officials. Moreover, Greenwich, Conn.-based Sonitor Technologies is a subsidiary of Sonitor IPS Holding and develops and commercializes ultrasound-based real-time location systems for healthcare and other market segments.
