Advantus Health Partners and HHS announced their strategic partnership to expand hospitality services for Advantus members, delivering a patient-centric hospitality approach for healthcare technology management, food and nutrition services, hospital patient transport, and environmental services. This strategic collaboration is an eight-year, $1.2 billion agreement designed to provide optimized productivity and expanded analytics capabilities and ultimately contribute to a high-quality and consistent patient experience.

“HHS is the right partner to advance traditional services into the hospitality services of the future,” says Dan Hurry, president, Advantus Health Partners. “With HHS, we looked down the road at how to optimize processes and technology to create a better experience for patients and staff. We are very excited about the future together.”

According to Research and Markets’ Hospital Outsourcing Global Market Report 2023,hospital outsourcing is expected to grow to $526 billion by 2026, at a compounded annual growth rate of 12.8% increase. This strong growth is attributed to industry financial pressures propelling health systems to focus on their core business of clinical care delivery.

“We’re proud to partner with a leading healthcare solutions company like Advantus Health Partners. This enables us to seamlessly extend our hospitality services expertise to a wide range of hospitals and health systems,” says Bobby Floyd, HHS chairman and CEO. “Through our partnership with Advantus, we will tailor service programs designed to cater to the unique requirements of their membership base.”

HHS was selected based on the company’s extensive industry expertise, technology innovations, and collaborative approach to aligning a consistent hospitality model for hospitals and large-scale health systems. This strategic collaboration allows Advantus to bring full-service hospitality options to its growing client base of more than 200 hospitals, 1,700 sites of care and 600+ clinics in 46 states.
