The annual Winter Meeting of the Virginia Biomedical Association will be held on Friday, February 7, at the Wintergreen Resort in Wintergreen, Va. In addition to a variety of classes, the event include Joseph Flannery, MS, MHA as featured speaker.
Flannery, an assistant professor at the Eastern Virginia Medical School and a field surveyor for The Joint Commission, will share general findings from Joint Commission surveys, performance improvement processes, indicator monitoring, and experiences with unannounced inspections. This session will be especially relevant to anyone who may go through a Joint Commission inspection in the next 12 months.
