The “Curious History of Electrical Safety Testing” will be the topic of the evening at the fall meeting of the Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET), Thursday, October 17. Delivered by Matt Baretich, president of Baretich Engineering, the presentation will relate the history of electrical safety testing from Ralph Nader to NFPA 99 and explain “we have spent so many hours chasing microamps and why we’re likely to do less of it in the future.”

Held at the University Hospital Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colo, the meeting runs from 6:15 to 8:00 pm. For more information, visit the CABMET website
