Brian Poplin, DHA, FACHE, president of Aramark Healthcare Technologies, Charlotte, NC, has been named to the Board of Visitors for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC, and the Coalition to Protect America’s Healthcare.
 
Poplin earned his doctor of health administration degree from the Medical University of 
South Carolina and his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s 
degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a fellow of the 
American College of Healthcare Executives and holds board certification in 
healthcare management. 

North Carolina Children’s Hospital serves more than 70,000 children from 100 North Carolina counties resulting in more than 200,000 visits annually for diagnosis and treatment.
 
The Coalition to Protect America’s Healthcare’s mission is to create sustaining 
advertising campaigns on behalf of the entire hospital field. In addition to thousands of 
individual hospitals and health systems, Coalition members include major national
hospital association as well as state, regional, and metropolitan hospital 
associations.
