Digi International has announced the launch of its newest serial server, the Digi Connect EZ 4 WS, designed specifically for medical patient care environments. The device is compliant with the IEC 60601 third edition standard, addressing the need for reliable and encrypted connections for critical medical equipment.
According to the company, the solution aims to meet the compliance and uptime demands of healthcare IT by providing a turnkey connectivity product. The Digi Connect EZ 4 WS is intended to protect patient data, reduce downtime, and support regulatory compliance upon installation.
