iSirona, Panama City, Fla, which provides solutions for medical device integration, announced that Samaritan Health Services signed an agreement to implement iSirona’s device connectivity software.
Samaritan Health Services, a nonprofit network of hospitals, physician clinics, and health services in the mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon coast, will leverage iSirona’s flexible software-based technology to deliver patient data into its Epic electronic medical records (EMRs).
iSirona’s connectivity solution, which can connect most medical devices to the EMR, will offer clinicians access to accurate and timely patient data. Rather than transcribing and hand-keying patient data, they can spend more time caring for patients. In addition, the software-based solution eliminates the need to purchase single-use hardware, so the facility can leverage its existing hardware and technology investments.
