Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center (LAC-USC) has installed 12 SonoSite S-FAST point-of-care ultrasound tools in each of its major resuscitation bays, where the most critically ill and injured patients are treated.

Sonosite
‘s zero-footprint tools mount onto Steris’ harmony ceiling system resuscitation towers integrating ultrasound into patient resuscitation and trauma care for the first time.

All of the new tools feature only the essential buttons, dials, and menus for ease of use, and include industry standard VESA compliant mounting capabilities.

The new LAC-USC trauma center will open to patients November 7.
