Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc, announces that the company once again achieved the highest Composite User Satisfaction Score, and also that it was the only company to achieve the No. 1 rating in all categories of MD Buyline’s second-quarter 2018 report, entitled “Radiographic Units, Digital and Conventional.” The company has held the top spot in the report for nine consecutive quarters.

Konica Minolta once again achieved the highest composite user score in a separate MD Buyline report on flat panel detectors as well.

“Customers are requesting more from their healthcare equipment partners and we are successfully meeting their demands through predictive intelligence, enhanced clinical outcomes, and real-time result analytics,” says Kevin Chlopecki, vice president of service operations.  “We’re dedicated to providing simple solutions to partners and the patients they serve while constantly exceeding expectations.”

Konica Minolta’s latest technology innovations include advanced imaging analytics, such as the Aer-oDR HD Flat Panel Detector and Realism, which is a cutting-edge image processing method that delivers a new level of clarity and detail for superior visualization within the soft tissue and bony structures. While AeroRemote Insights is a unique monitoring and analytics system that makes it far simpler and more efficient to manage digital radiography assets, run a more productive imaging department and deliver a better experience for patients, according to the company.

Yet, it is often the one-on-one interaction between Konica Minolta’s service team and customers that make a lasting impression.

Seema Mislmani, director of radiology for Las Palmas Medical Center, El Paso, Tex, says that the minimal downtime, excellent image quality and reliable, user-friendly equipment have improved the delivery of patient care and increased department productivity by up to 40%. “We get great service from the field engineers when they come to conduct preventative maintenance on the Konica Minolta equipment,” says Mislmani. “They are very thorough, friendly, and informative.”

Part of Konica Minolta Healthcare’s customer-centric approach is to listen and respond to their customers’ needs, says Michael Vaughn, radiology supervisor, Reid Health Hospital in Richmond, Ind. “The primary reason we’ve stayed with Konica Minolta Healthcare has been customer service,” Vaughn says. “Their applications specialists are fantastic educators and [they are] eager to do what they can to keep the customer happy. It’s nice to have an organization that puts the customer first.” Reid Health Hospital is the flagship facility of Reid Health and generates an average of 60,000 radiography exams each year. The hospital has two radiography rooms and several portable units that have all been retrofitted to AeroDR wireless flat panels. A few satellite clinics are using Konica Minolta Healthcare CR solutions as well.

“The bottom line is that consistently ranking No. 1 with MD Buyline for so many consecutive quarters is not a fluke,” says Steven Eisner, senior product manager for Konica Minolta Healthcare. “We take customer satisfaction very seriously and invest in the people and technology that enable us to deliver an excellent customer experience.”
