Designed specifically for healthcare, the HS-2R Bluetooth high-frequency (HF) RFID reader is built with flexibility to help medical technicians improve workflows and adapt to changing technology, according to the company.
The dual-function Bluetooth HS-2R hand scanner reads and writes to 13.56 megahertz HF RFID tags and supports a wide range of HF standards. The device uses area-imaging technology to read most common 1D and 2D barcodes, improving scan performance on damaged barcodes. According to the company, the HS-2R’s durable design protects the device in medical applications, making it suitable for use in point of care settings and for surgical part tracking as well as other purposes.
