AAMI has named the advisory council and selected a venue for its 2026 medical device standards-focused conference.
The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) has announced the advisory council and location for its 2026 neXus medical device industry conference, scheduled for April 14 to 17, 2026.
The 2026 AAMI neXus will be a confluence of learning, collaboration, and innovation focusing on the development, adoption, and application of medical device standards. The inaugural 2024 AAMI neXus, co-sponsored by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), attracted more than 400 industry and regulatory professionals.
The 2026 AAMI neXus will feature FDA experts alongside industry members and AAMI’s constituencies, including medical device regulators and manufacturers, standards developers, and industrial sterilization professionals. Attendees will hear directly from FDA experts and network with like-minded professionals within the medical device industry.
“Our conference advisory council is focused on bringing the most up-to-date information and the best experts from across the world to engage in learning, collaboration, and innovation at the confluence of health technology, regulations, and standards,” says AAMI’s vice president of industry and emerging technologies, Timothy Hsu, in a release. “AAMI can promise that this conference will serve as an essential convening of the medical products industry, global regulatory officials, and standards developers.”
