The executive hire will focus on bringing newly integrated global manufacturing and development capabilities to medical device companies.
Forj Medical, a contract design and manufacturing organization for the medical technology industry, has appointed Jeff Kelly as its chief commercial officer. With more than two decades of experience, Kelly will oversee the company’s global commercial organization, including sales, marketing, customer service, and strategic partnerships.
The company was recently formed through the merger of Intricon and Minnetronix Medical, and the appointment is aimed at promoting its integrated manufacturing and development capabilities to medical device companies.
“With the recent launch of Forj Medical, it’s a critical time for us to share our expanded capabilities and value with our customers,” says Jeremy Maniak, CEO of Forj Medical, in a release. “Jeff’s proven track record of building and leading high-performing commercial teams makes him the ideal leader to expand Forj Medical’s market presence and deepen partnerships across the medical device industry.”
Before joining Forj Medical, Kelly held senior leadership positions at medical device manufacturers Lisi Medical and Cadence. He also served as international commercial market director for Quest Diagnostics and Medrad, a division of Bayer Healthcare.
“I’m excited to join Forj Medical at a time of such incredible opportunity to expand our impact,” says Kelly in a release. “With a solid talent and capabilities foundation, we’re uniquely positioned to deliver greater value to our customers and improve outcomes for patients.”
Headquartered in St Paul, MN, Forj Medical partners with original equipment manufacturers in areas including diabetes care, advanced optics, surgical energy, vascular disease, drug delivery, and surgical navigation.
