The annual HIMSS conference, scheduled for February 23-27 in Orlando, will offer more than 300 education programs, including keynotes, seminars, roundtable discussions and e-sessions, as well as preconference workshops and symposia. The organizers expect more than  37,000 healthcare IT professionals, clinicians, executives and vendors to attend.

The exhibit hall, which will house more than 1,200  health IT vendors, this year features a revamped Interoperability Showcase. The showcase is designed to emphasize how vital collaborative technology is to the realization of connected health and patient empowerment. Two Knowledge Centers, also on the exhibit floor, will be focused on clinical and business analytics and intelligence and on mobile health.
