As a 26-year-old biomed who entered healthcare technology management within the last few years, Hunter Harren has seen first-hand the aging workforce and the huge gap between generations of biomeds. Young technicians must find a way to break out of their bubble of isolation and work side by side with their more experienced counterparts, he says. At the same time, the field must come up with new ways of drawing in young recruits.
