US Med-Equip, a company that specializes in serving hospitals with round-the-clock rental, sales, and asset management of moveable medical equipment, announces that HealthTrust, one of the nation’s largest hospital purchasing groups, has awarded the company its prestigious 2018 Supplier Excellence Award.
According to HealthTrust, award recipients were chosen based on a variety of factors including product quality, on-time delivery, billing accuracy, customer service and overall price/value. HealthTrust serves more than 1,500 hospitals and health systems and more than 31,000 other member locations. US Med-Equip was chosen from among hundreds of HealthTrust vendors in the medical-surgical category.
The award was presented to US Med-Equip executives by Michael Berryhill, HealthTrust chief operating officer, at the recent HealthTrust University Conference in Nashville, Tenn. In his letter of congratulations to US Med-Equip, Berryhill notes that “this award is in appreciation for outstanding performance on the metrics that matter most to our members and your customers.”
