The session will provide an update on the center’s strategic direction and priorities and include a question-and-answer period for attendees.

AdvaMed announced a town hall featuring members from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), including director Michelle Tarver, MD, PhD, at The MedTech Conference this October in San Diego. The session is planned to provide attendees with updates on the center’s strategic direction and key priorities.

The town hall offers an opportunity for medtech professionals to hear directly from regulators and ask questions regarding the policies that affect medical technology development and market access.

“The FDA CDRH Town Hall at The MedTech Conference has long been a highlight of the largest global gathering of medtech,” says Scott Whitaker, president and CEO of AdvaMed, in a release. “We are grateful for the willingness of the FDA team to share their perspective on the policies and processes that are so critical to the future of medtech innovation and patient access to that innovation.”
