The event will bring together global leaders to explore innovations, share research, and advance the future of healthcare technology.
The Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA)’s 6th International Clinical Engineering & Health Technology Management Congress (ICEHTMC) will take place Oct 17–20, 2025, in Shenzhen, China. The annual event is expected to bring together clinical engineers, healthcare technology management (HTM) professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world to discuss innovations shaping the future of healthcare technology.
This year’s congress will center on the theme “Advancing Healthcare Through Technology: Innovations and Solutions” and will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, technical workshops, and exhibits showcasing the latest advancements in medical technology and health systems management. Among the highlights of the 2025 program is the Meet & Greet, a structured business matchmaking event designed to connect international medical technology manufacturers with regional distributors. The session offers curated one-on-one meetings, personalized introductions, and dedicated networking spaces, aiming to foster strategic partnerships and accelerate the global adoption of innovative, validated medical technologies.
In addition, attendees will have opportunities to participate in networking events such as the Global Clinical Engineering Summit, the Best CE Competition, and the GCEA annual member meeting. The congress called for papers, inviting researchers and professionals to submit abstracts for oral presentations, workshops, and poster sessions. Accepted abstracts will be published in the official congress proceedings, and full papers may be considered for inclusion in a special issue of the Global Clinical Engineering Journal.
Registration for ICEHTMC 2025 is now open, with early-bird discounts available. Additional details, including submission deadlines and lodging information, are available on the GCEA website.
The event is organized by the GCEA in collaboration with Chinese Medical Device Association, Global Clinical Engineers Japan, and AAMI.
