New systems combine invasive, non-invasive, and high-flow oxygen therapies in a single platform.
Mindray North America has announced its entry into the US ventilator market with the launch of its SV900 and SV700 ventilators.
The systems expand Mindray’s critical care portfolio and are designed to support a range of patient populations and care settings. The company said the devices integrate invasive, non-invasive, and high-flow oxygen therapies into a single platform, allowing clinicians to manage different stages of respiratory care without switching equipment.
“Entering the US ventilator market with the SV900 and SV700 represents a pivotal moment in our company’s growth and commitment to healthcare providers,” says Wayne Quinn, president of Mindray North America, in a release. “We are enabling our partners to achieve significant economies of scale, streamline procurement processes, and enhance patient care by integrating our new respiratory solutions into our critical care portfolio and equipping their teams with a full suite of cutting-edge tools from a single, trusted provider.”
According to the company, the ventilators include features intended to support clinical decision-making, including tools for weaning and lung-protective ventilation strategies. The systems are designed for use across patient populations with varying respiratory needs.
Both ventilators are backed by a three-year warranty, according to a release from the company, and are part of Mindray’s broader approach to total cost of ownership, which includes service and support.
The launch marks Mindray’s expansion into the North American ventilator market as it builds out its critical care offerings.
