Dicom Grid, an Arizona-based provider of Web-based imaging applications, announced that it hosted its first webinar of 2015 to discuss the ins and outs of managing medical images in the cloud. The 45-minute recorded webinar, titled “How to Manage Medical Images in the Cloud,” is available for viewing on the Dicom Grid website.
Hosted by Dicom Grid product specialists, the medical imaging webinar video covers a range of topics, including tackling CD ingestion and PHI normalization, sharing images securely over the web, accessing and viewing patient exams across devices, routing data between systems, scaling storage and archiving capacity, and creating workflows to automate image exchange processes.
The 45-minute video is intended to provide healthcare leaders and IT administrators with strategies for integrating cloud technology into the imaging environment in order to replace traditional on-premise infrastructures or extend the functionality of current systems. Those interested are encouraged to share the webinar video link with colleagues who wish to leverage cloud technology to improve current processes for managing diagnostic imaging.
