Smart Business magazine and First Merit Bank, as part of the Pillar Awards for Community Service, has honored Charlie Koch, chief administrative officer, PartsSource, as 2010 Nonprofit Board Executive of the Year.
Koch received the award in recognition of his work with the Youth Challenge in Northern Ohio. He is the longest-service trustee at Youth Challenge and has been involved in the organization for over 20 years. He’s held several positions in that time, including president, VP, treasurer, and chairman of the annual fund drive.
