Industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp, Raleigh, NC, introduces advanced monitored ePDU products to help IT managers control power consumption more efficiently.
The products will provide IT managers with the tools they need to evaluate server performance, allocate power costs, and even lower their bills by allowing them to monitor, track, and manage power consumption at the receptacle level for all equipment in the data center.
With eight function levels, the ePDU products give users the ability to customize the units to suit specific equipment, enabling them to effectively measure power usage and temperature at the system, rack, or chassis level.
Eaton’s advanced monitored units also have https and SNMP communication capabilities to allow for flexibility in implementation.
