In 2005 and 2006, the Healthcare Technology Foundation (HTF) performed a national survey of clinical alarm issues. In an effort to determine any changes in the profession’s perception of these issues and to inform future action, HTF is conducting another survey on the same topic. The survey is sponsored in part by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, among other organizations.
