Canon Inc has surpassed its 16,000th digital radiography (DR) system production mark worldwide. The accomplishment was reached over a period of 14 years, beginning with the launch of the Canon CXDI-11 DR system in December 1997. Canon was the first in the industry to deliver a portable DR system, the CXDI-31, launched in 2001.
Canon has introduced several generations of flat panel detectors that offer a full range of DR system solutions for various applications. The Canon DR solutions allow for either upgrading existing equipment with Canon DR technology or including Canon DR systems as part of a completely new system.
