In light of the latest novel coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) has canceled its 2020 PDC Summit. This move follows the cancellation of HIMSS 2020, which was slated to take place from March 9-13 in Orlando, Fla.

ASHE Interim Executive Director Dale Woodin spoke out about the cancellation, commenting: “We made the decision to cancel the 2020 PDC Summit after much discussion and deliberation. Many healthcare, construction, and architecture organizations have implemented travel restrictions for employees, and a large number of PDC Summit registrants must remain on site as they work to ensure health care facilities continue to operate safely during this uncertain time.”

All 2020 PDC Summit attendees will receive further information regarding registration cancellation options via email by March 20. Exhibitors can expect to receive a similar email by March 20.
